Portrait Laura Taouchanov

Lire en français (FR)

Sadaffe has always had very strong female role models who taught her that women can make their own choices. As a young adult, she could not stand the inequalities affecting women in her home country, Pakistan.
After studying in the US, she created the Circle Association of Women to play an active role in empowering women facing multiple vulnerabilities, especially through digital literacy, that she considers as a basic human right.

My name is Laura, I'm 28 years old and I'm a freelance journalist in the audio industry. I think life sounds better through headphones, don't you? With an English mother and a Bulgarian father, I have always been interested in issues of community and identity. Since I graduated from the Ecole supérieure de journalisme in Lille, I have collaborated with several radio stations (RMC, Europe 1, Radio Classique...) and I work for the podcast Transfert (produced by Slate). But at the end of 2021, I I went to Dublin to be the Irish correspondent for several French-speaking media (RFI, Radio France, RTBF, RTS and more).
