Sarah Khatry

Sarah Khatry’s essays have appeared in Virginia Quarterly ReviewAGNI, DIAGRAM, and the Cleveland Review of Books, as well as in the Pushcart Prize anthology. She is a graduate of the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Denver.

Caitlin Giovannoni is a literature teacher at a lycée in Seine Saint-Denis. She runs writing and sound creation workshops for teenagers and adults.

Caelainn Barr

Caelainn Barr is a writer, journalist, and educator from Ireland. She is currently a student in the Literary Nonfiction program at the University of Iowa. She has worked as a journalist for over a decade, writing for the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, the Irish Times, Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, and the Guardian, where she also worked as an editor. Barr was awarded the Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University in 2022 and earned her Master's in Journalism from Columbia University in New York.

Connie Chen & Aaron Pang

Connie Chen writes and unwrites the ways lupus has written her. Collaborating with nonconforming bodies in literature, she engages the intersections of psychoanalysis, queer and feminist theory, disability studies, Christian theology, and critical theory. Connie is a MFA candidate at the University of Iowa’s Nonfiction Writing Program, where she is an Iowa Arts Fellow. Aaron writes about disability, Chinese-America, food, and his mom. Aaron’s writing has appeared on The Moth Radio Hour, Proof by America’s Test Kitchen, Essay Daily, among others. He is a MFA candidate at the University of Iowa’s Nonfiction Writing Program.

Ilana Bean

Ilana Bean is a writer and visual artist currently based in Ireland. She holds an MFA in Nonfiction Writing from the University of Iowa where she received the Iowa Arts Fellowship. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and can be found in publications like Guernica, Gawker, The Rumpus, and Chicago Review of Books.

Céline Bagault

Master's student in Creative Writing, Céline Bagault has long been a journalist and reporter. She has contributed to several journals and magazines (Sciences Humaines Magazine, Gibraltar, Ragemag, Arte info, Bodoï, 24h01, Altermondes, Sang-froid). Her first novel is in the process of being published.

Lina Benayada

Lina Benayada was born in France. They studied in preparatory classes before entering the master's program in creative writing at Paris 8. To make a living, they work with ceramics.

Nicolas Matos Itxaso

Nicolas Matos Ichaso was born in 1982 in Saint-Étienne, where he currently lives. Initially working as a manual laborer, he trained in manual trades. He later earned a Master's degree in anthropology, transitioning to documentary filmmaking and literary writing. His documentary work has been selected for various international festivals. Alongside his artistic pursuits, Nicolas works as a stage and cinema production technician.
