Mary-Justine Todd, “resilience comes with the ability to regain hope”

Revealing

27/11/2023

While she was at the hospital, Mary-Justine met someone that inspired her to pursue her journey as a social entrepreneur. After spending her life in the US, and having lived in various countries in Africa, she settled in Bahrain and launched Shamsaha, meaning “her sun” in Arabic, to take care of women victims of violence in various countries of the Middle East.

In co-production with the L’Oréal Fund for Women, “Revealing” tells the stories of those who, every day, contribute to changing society.
